Concentrated Daydreaming series – Acrylic ink on paper
These paintings are all made as an experiment into the flow state of mind.
The studio is set up beforehand with limited materials and ready to paint, to enable the creative process to be as quick and untroubled as possible. The artist turns up quickly paints a picture and leaves before any critical analysis of the work is possible, no corrections or additions are made. After several sessions and with enough time passed to allow for a critical distance some paintings are ripped up and the body of work is complete.
